When the wolf came to the first house, he just exhaled and puffed and it blew the house apart. The first chick fled to his sister's house.
The beast came to the second house and huffed and exerted himself and it blew the house apart. The two chicks scampered to their sister's house.
But when the predator came to the third house, he exhaled and exerted himself but it wouldn't move. The chicks were protected inside.
Finally, the wolf was too exhausted to try any longer. He went away defeated.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be ready and to build a secure house. They lived happily ever after in their brick house.
